RIGHTS ISSUE CLOSURE AND SHORTFALL NOTIFICATION
Automotive Technology Group Limited (ASX Code ATJ) advises that the recent partially underwritten Rights Issue closed on 8 October 2009. The results of the Rights Issue are as follows:

| Total number of Shares validly applied for: | 47,414,973 |
| Number of applications received | 46 |
| Pro-rata shortfall: | 69,204,777 |
| Underwriters shortfall: | 20,000,000 |
The issue was partially underwritten by Michael and Megan Wilson and the Company confirms that a shortfall notice will be issued in accordance with the underwriting agreement.
The remaining shortfall may be placed pursuant to the Right Issue offer document.
