AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY GROUP APPOINTS NEW CFO

Leading Australian clean automotive technology company Automotive Technology Group (ATG) (ASX: ATJ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael van Uffelen as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Eileen Chan.

Mr van Uffelen will commence in the role on September 6. He has strong experience gained during a career spanning over 20 years with major accountancy firms Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, in Australia, South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and Arqaam Capital in the Middle East.

During his career, Mr van Uffelen has worked across a number of areas, including; corporate finance services, audit and assurance advisory, transaction and valuation advisory, insolvency and corporate restructuring, and taxation advisory.

More recently, Mr van Uffelen has worked in investment banking, and leading teams providing third party private equity and real estate fund administration services, and corporate finance services focused on capital raisings and merger and acquisition advisory.

Mr van Uffelen brings a strong mix of corporate finance, accounting, reporting and governance skills to the role of CFO, and ATG is delighted to welcome him to the team and looks forward to him becoming a key senior member of the Company’s management group.

Mr van Uffelen is a Chartered Accountant, and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.

The Company would like to take this opportunity to thank Eileen Chan for her invaluable contribution to the business of ATG during her time with the Company, and wishes her well with her future endeavors.
