The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Splendid signs license agreement with ProSiebenSat.1 – Licensed to make first use of a package of 16 films on TV. – Turnover of Euro 17.3 million in the years 2002 and 2003 (Cologne/Unterfoehring, 15 July 2002) Splendid Film GmbH of Cologne has signed a license agreement with ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG of Unterfoehring on a package of 16 films from the Splendid library. The transaction as a whole is worth Euro 17.3 million. The package includes the romantic comedy ‘Kate & Leopold’ with Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman as well as other films produced by Los Angeles-based Splendid Pictures, among them police thriller ‘NARC’ featuring Ray Liotta and the comedy ‘The Devil and Daniel Webster’ starring Alec Baldwin, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Anthony Hopkins. Splendid will start to profit from the deal as early as the second half of 2002. Other income from the agreement will be generated in the 2003 fiscal year. ‘Desert Saints’, starring Kiefer Sutherland, ‘Layover’, starring David Hasselhoff, and ‘Kate & Leopold’ will be among the first batch of films delivered to ProSiebenSat.1. “Our agreement with ProSiebenSat.1 Media underlines our good business relations with one of the largest TV broadcasting groups in the German-speaking world.
