SPIRENT EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE PLAN (THE "PLAN")

London, UK - 21 May 2015: Spirent Communications plc ("the Company") (LSE: SPT), a leading communications technology company, would like to notify the market in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the following changes in the interests of a Director / Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility:

On 18 May 2015, a Performance Shares award over Ordinary Shares of 3 & 1/3 pence each was made to the following Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility under the Spirent Employee Incentive Plan:

The awards of Performance Shares, in the form of a conditional right to an award of shares will only be received by each individual if he/she remains employed by the Company on the vesting date (18 May 2018) and provided that the Company meets the performance conditions set by the Company's Remuneration Committee in respect of this award.
