Appointment of Mr Jérôme Nier as director representing employees on the SPIE Board of Directors

Paris, 11 January 2021 – SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces the appointment of Mr Jérôme Nier as a director representing employees on the Board of Directors. Of French citizenship, Mr Jérôme Nier was appointed by the Social and Economic Committee of SPIE Operations following a vote held on 8 January 2021, as successor to Daniel Boscari, Director of Project Finance Development, who has decided to retire.

Jérôme Nier, aged 47, is graduated from the École Supérieure des Technologies de l'Électronique et de l'Informatique (ESTEI). After nearly 10 years of experience with a multi-technical design office (GECC-AICC), he joined the SPIE group in October 2005 as Business Manager for the SPIE Sud-Est subsidiary. Responsible of the Smart Buildings department of SPIE ICS (Digital Services) in 2011, Jérôme Nier became in 2015 IoT business development manager, Design Thinking consultant and innovation advisor for the same subsidiary. For 2019, Jérôme Nier is Offer Marketing Manager within the Group marketing department.

The SPIE Board of Directors is delighted with the appointment of Jérôme Nier and thanks Daniel Boscari for his commitment as a director representing employees since 2015.
