MOTOPIA'S ONLINE PLATFORM PROJECT UPDATE & MODAC ACQUISITION

Motopia Limited (ASX: MOT) is pleased to advise that it is in the process of completing further technology acquisitions to expand the capability of its online platform and conversion technology.

Modac Pty Ltd is the Pacific licensee of iSpirer technology. Like 2SQL, iSpirer’s technology enables customers to migrate from legacy database applications some of which include Oracle, DB2, FoxPro and Progress to SQL Server.

In making this acquisition, the board of Motopia has recognised

1. the complementary nature of the iSpirier product with the online platform;

2. the expansion in addressable market presented by integrating the products; and

3. the opportunity cost savings by making the acquisition as opposed to engaging in further development to achieve these particular outcomes.

The acquisition of iSpirer technology capabilties, builds upon on the vision of Motopia to be Australia’s best provider of legacy migration solutions and further cements Motopia’s ambition to realise the full commercial potential of the 2SQL software.

In line with this acquisition, the company has completed work on its new data centric pricing plan that also aligns the 2SQL cloud offering with at Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SAAS) vendors.

The company has paid consideration of $200,000 for the acquisition of Modac Pty Ltd with a final payment of a further $50,000 payable by the end of August 2015.

The company looks forwards to making further revenue centric and strategic announcements in the near term.
