Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Management Responsibilities

("PDMRs")

The Company announces the following transactions by PDMRs in the Company's ordinary 5p shares ("Shares"):

PSP Joining Awards

On 6 December 2013, awards (the "PSP Awards") were made under the Company's 2004 Performance Share Plan ("PSP").  The PSP Awards are rights to acquire Shares for nil consideration, subject to the rules of the PSP and to the satisfaction of the applicable performance targets.  The PSP Awards were made to Mark Rogerson and Andy Wright, both PDMRs and both of whose appointments were announced on 12 November 2013.

No consideration was payable on the grant of either the PSP Awards.

The PSP Awards will normally be exercisable (to the extent performance targets are met) within a 90-day period following notification to awardholders that performance targets have been met to any extent - usually following the third anniversary of the date of grant (6 December 2016).

The PSP Awards were granted in respect of the number of Shares set out below:

The Company was informed by the individuals noted above of the above transactions on 6 December 2013.
