SPECTRIS DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Spectris plc ('Spectris') (LSE: SXS), the expert in providing insight through precision measurement, today announces that Mr. Karim Bitar will step down from the Board with effect from 31 December 2021. Karim was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in July 2017.

On behalf of the Board, Mark Williamson, Chairman, said: "Karim has been a valuable member of the Board throughout his tenure and a key member of a team that has helped shape the strategic direction of the Company. I would like to thank  Karim for his  contribution and we wish him well for the future. We have recently strengthened the Board with the addition of Dr Ravi Gopinath and Alison Henwood and we will benefit from the experience and diversity of thought that they bring to the team".
