Spacetalk expands retailers stocking Adventurer for Kids

Highlights

• Spacetalk expands distribution of Adventurer – the Company’s new, next-generation 4G smartphone watch for kids – to Harvey Norman, Officeworks and Kogan

• Broader retailer rollout follows Adventurer’s successful exclusive launch with JB Hi-Fi in time for Christmas sales, which expired on 31 December 2020

Spacetalk Ltd. (ASX:SPA) (“Spacetalk” or “Company”), developer of innovative technologies that keep families safe and connected, is pleased to announce that the Company has expanded distribution of the Spacetalk Adventurer device for Kids to Harvey Norman, Officeworks and Kogan.

Spacetalk Adventurer – the Company’s new, next generation 4G smartphone watch for kids aged 5- 12 – was launched in December 2020 in time for Christmas sales, exclusively ranging at all JB Hi-Fi’s Australia stores. In its first two weeks, prior to the commencement of advertising campaigns, Spacetalk Adventurer sales exceeded the original Spacetalk Kids device unit sales.

Following the exclusivity period for Adventurer’s launch with JB Hi-Fi, which ceased on 31 December 2020, the Company has had strong retailer demand to range the fun, fashionable and technologically advanced Spacetalk Adventurer, with positive customer feedback highlighting Adventurer’s exciting new features that deliver confidence for the child, enhanced controls for the parent, and new functionalities for the family to stay connected.

The Company has commenced the broader retailer rollout of Adventurer with Harvey Norman, Officeworks and Kogan. Harvey Norman and Officeworks will range Adventurer at all their retail stores throughout Australia and online, and Kogan will sell via its online marketplace. Several other retailers have expressed their interest and are in discussions with the Company in this regard.
