ASX Announcement Spacetalk Ltd. (ASX: SPA) 29 November 2021

Market Update

Spacetalk Ltd. (ASX:SPA) (“Spacetalk” or “Company”), developer of innovative technologies that keep families safe and connected, provides the following update.

North America Distribution

On 17 November 2021, the Company advised that sales of Spacetalk Adventurer devices would commence in North America in advance of Black Friday. The Company can confirm that this has occurred with the first Spacetalk watch having sold on 24 November.

Whilst having successfully launched with Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy Canada and on Spacetalk websites, the on-line launch with Best Buy US has been delayed because of discussions around a potential on-line and in-store launch in the first half of calendar 2022. These discussions are incomplete but appear promising.

Spacetalk devices are now sold across the European, Asian and North American time zones.

Martin Darbyshire

Spacetalk has also recently announced the appointment of Martin Darbyshire as Chief Design Officer (“CDO”). Mr Darbyshire joins Spacetalk from London based design firm Tangerine, the company he founded in 1989, and where he remains Chairman.

As CDO, Mr Darbyshire will work closely with the Spacetalk team to further embed and advance its design-led culture as the Company embarks on its next phase of growth.

AFR Fast 100

Spacetalk was this morning announced as a member of the Australian Financial Review (“AFR”) Fast 100. This list, compiled by the AFR recognises the fastest growing companies in Australia in 2020-21.

Spacetalk ranked number 72 on this list.

SPP Extension

On 24 November 2021, the Company announced an extension to the close of its Share Purchase Plan ("SPP").

The Company was advised that some shareholders had only received their offer documents midway through the application window. As such, the Company chose to extend the offer period for an additional four business days until 2 December 2021 .

This announcement has been authorised by Spacetalk CEO Mark Fortunatow.
