Spacetalk announces Chief Financial Officer appointment

Spacetalk Ltd (ASX: SPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Innocent Ndoda as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 14 April 2025. Ndoda joins Spacetalk with a wealth of financial leadership experience. He most recently served as CFO at Reask, a company that uses artificial intelligence to forecast extreme weather risks, and has held senior financial roles at Nearmap and Tyro Payments.

Ndoda succeeds Gerhard Beukes, who has served as Interim CFO for the past 12 months. Beukes will transition into a support and advisory role.

CEO and Managing Director Simon Crowther, Ndoda, and Beukes were all previously part of the leadership team at Nearmap, an Australian technology success story. Their reunion at Spacetalk creates an effective and proven leadership team capable of making the company sustainably profitable.

Spacetalk CEO Simon Crowther welcomed Ndoda's appointment, commenting:

We are grateful for his impact and are pleased that he will continue to support Spacetalk in an advisory capacity.”

Spacetalk’s latest half-year results reveal that, for the six months ending 31 December 2024, the company reported a 12% increase in total revenue and a 16% increase in annual

recurring revenue, compared to the previous corresponding period. Gross profit climbed by 24%, recurring mobile revenue by 62%, and EBITDA by 96%, also compared to the previous corresponding period.

Ndoda said he is excited to join Spacetalk at such a pivotal time. He said, “The strong recent results underscore the effectiveness of the company's current strategy. I will work with Simon and the team to build on the progress they have already made and look forward to further strengthening the company’s financial position.”
