Space Hellas in three new projects in the field of cyber defense

Space Hellas reinforces its presence in the defense sector, with three new development projects at the European Defense Fund (EDF), in which its contribution is focused on the field of cyber defense.

The €60 million CITADEL Range project is developing a pan-European synergistic infrastructure for cyber defense exercises (Cyber Ranges). As a Digital Integrator, Space Hellas participates in a key role in the project leader of the Integration & Prototyping Activity.

The 5G COMPAD 2.0 project, with a budget of €38 million, is developing an innovative heterogeneous communications system for military use, based on multiple protocols, both civilian (such as 5G) and military, with a combination of terrestrial and satellite links and spectrum sharing capability. Space Hellas contributes with innovative cyber security mechanisms that ensure confidentiality and integrity of communications.

Finally, the NEREUS project, with a budget of €64 million, is developing a system of systems (SoS) for naval combat, resilient to multiple attacks and composed of complex heterogeneous infrastructures. Space Hellas, in cooperation with Naval Group, is contributing to the field of information security by developing relevant techniques for risk assessment (Asset Intelligence & Risk Management Component).

These projects add to Space Hellas' already rich cyber defense portfolio, which now numbers ten (10) projects in a total of 21 active projects in the wider area of cyber security, which consolidates the company's know-how, competitiveness and international collaborations in the field.
