Item 8.01. Other Events.

On April 18, 2017, the Board of Directors of Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") declared its 92 nd consecutive quarterly dividend on common stock since the inception of the Company. The dividend of $.10 per common share will be payable May 31, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 15, 2017.

In other matters, the Company expects to release its preliminary operating results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, on April 24, 2017, and expects to host a conference call to discuss the release on April 25, 2017, at 3:30 p.m., central time. The call will be available live to interested parties by calling 1-888-339-0709 in the United States (Canada: 1-855-669-9657, international: 1-412-902-4189). Telephone playback will be available beginning one hour following the conclusion of the call through May 8, 2017.
