Item 8.01. Other Events.

On February 19, 2016, the Board of Directors of Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") declared a dividend of $0.09 per common share, payable May 31, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 13, 2016.

In other matters, the Company expects to release its preliminary operating results for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, on April 25, 2016, and expects to host a conference call to discuss the release on April 26, 2016, at 3:30 p.m., central time. Instructions for accessing the conference call will be provided in the release.
