Item 8.01 Other Information .

On October 4, 2013, Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for Southern Bank, issued a press release announcing that its acquisition of Ozarks Legacy Community Financial, Thayer, Missouri, and its subsidiary, the Bank of Thayer (previously announced in a Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 24, 2013), was completed today. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
