Southern Hemisphere Mining Limited (“ Southern Hemisphere ” or “ the Company ”) ( ASX:SUH ) is pleased to announce a Placement of 6,500,000 Shares at A$0.08 per Share to raise up to A$520,000 to sophisticated investors, pursuant to Section 708A of the Corporations Act. SUH will use its existing capacity under Listing Rule 7.1 (approx. 3.256 million shares), and a portion of its capacity under Listing Rule 7.1A, to complete this issue.
The funds raised via the Placement will be to used to continue further exploration at the Marble Bar Lithium Project and Pippingarra Lithium Project in Western Australia, and undertake an independent technical and financial review of the Company’s existing projects in Chile taking in to account the recent increases in global commodities prices and for general working capital purposes.
