Marketing and branding developments

The successful growth and diversification of the business over recent years has created the need when communicating to better differentiate between SCEE as a whole group and the original SCEE operating business. Consequently, a “SCEE Group” brand has been adopted for the former and the SCEE operating business will market itself as “SCEE Electrical”. This change will help to better align messaging to different stakeholders and a program of refreshing marketing collateral and initiatives across the group is in progress.

Executive appointment

SCEE Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Baudains in the newly created position of “Chief Executive Officer - SCEE Electrical”. Geoff is a successful and well-respected executive with a career spanning over 25 years in the electrical contracting industry with experience gained from working within the Mining, Resources, Oil & Gas and Energy sectors including holding senior roles within Downer and, most recently, UGL.

Geoff’s role will be to lead and grow the SCEE Electrical business and he will commence on Monday 11 October and report to SCEE Group Managing Director Graeme Dunn.

Relocation of Head Office

As foreshadowed in the 25 August results announcement, SCEE Group is relocating its head office to 225 St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD from Monday 1 November 2021 with all of the Group’s WA based businesses moving to the same location. The co-location will encourage increased integration and collaboration between the businesses in targeting opportunities and delivering works.
