Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (‘SCEE’) is pleased to announce that its Sydney-based subsidiary Heyday has been awarded a significant contract on a major infrastructure project in NSW.

The contract awarded to Heyday by the Westconnex M5 joint venture contractor CPB Dragados Samsung (‘CDSJV’) comprises two portions, being the Stage 2 Electrical Installation Works – LV Services West work package and the Tunnel Electrical Installation Through Cabling work package, to a total contract value in excess of $55m. The expected completion date for the works under the contract is November 2019.

The specific work Heyday is required to perform includes the supply and installation of cable supports and pathways to facilitate HV and LV electrical cabling, installation of tunnel and emergency lighting and the cabling of communications, closed circuit TV and other associated specialist control systems relevant to allow the safe and efficient passage of vehicle traffic.
