Continues SCEE’s diversification strategy
Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (‘SCEE’) is pleased to advise that it has been awarded a subcontract for approximately $30m of electrical services works at the Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal. The subcontract with Lendlease is for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the electrical component of the upgrade of the existing airfield facilities at RAAF Base Tindal to support the New Air Combat Capability being acquired by the Australian Defence Force.
RAAF Base Tindal is located approximately 17km south-east of Katherine, Northern Territory, which is located approximately 320km south-east of Darwin.
Commenting on the announcement SCEE Managing Director, Graeme Dunn, said “the award of this significant package of defence works is another important milestone in SCEE’s continuing diversification into a broader range of sectors and geographies.”
