SCEE awarded Amrun works
Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (“SCEE”) is pleased to announce that it has secured approximately $30m of new construction projects in the resources sector.
SCEE has been awarded a subcontract by Civmec Electrical & Instrumentation Pty Ltd for the provision of over $20m of electrical and instrumentation works on the Process Facility at Rio Tinto’s Amrun project near Weipa in North Queensland.
The Company has also been awarded a subcontract for over $5m by Decmil Australia to design, supply and construct the electrical, communications, instrumentation and controls for the Amrun project’s mine infrastructure area.
These awards were foreshadowed in SCEE’s half-year results announcement as being included in the order book as “projects in the final stages of approval”.
