Award of Ergon Energy Service Agreement

Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (“SCEE”) is pleased to announce it has entered into a three year service agreement for the provision of asset inspection and maintenance services on the Ergon Energy electricity distribution network in the Northern Region of Queensland.

The scope of services that SCEE will carry out under the agreement includes:

• inspection and maintenance of overhead line assets and associated earthing systems;

• inspection of above ground assets in underground power areas including pillars and streetlight poles; and

• testing and maintenance of overhead earthing systems.

The value of work to be performed in the initial three year term is forecast to be over $20m and will be delivered from SCEE’s regional facility in Townsville.
