SXE Board Changes
Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Ltd (ASX:SXE) today announces that Mr Douglas Fargher has advised the Board of his intention to resign as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from today’s date. Mr Fargher, who has been a Non-Executive Director from the time Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Ltd listed in November 2007, advised his reason for stepping down as purely personal.
In order to ensure a smooth transition until the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director Mr Fargher has offered his services in an advisory consulting capacity until the end of June this year, which the Board is pleased to accept.
SCEE’s newly appointed Chairman, Mr John Cooper, speaking on behalf of the whole Board, thanked Doug for the significant contribution he has made over the past 3 ½ years in helping to guide the Company through the transition from private to a publicly listed entity.
The Board of SCEE hopes to be in a position to advise a replacement Independent Non-Executive Director to Mr Fargher shortly.
