Update re Badile and Forthcoming Investor Event

Sound Energy, the African and European focused upstream gas company, announces, further to the Company's announcement of 3 July 2017, that the rig at the Badile exploration well, onshore Italy, has now been fully disassembled and that operations to plug and abandon (including the demobilisation of the rig and the restoration of the well site), are expected to be completed by the end of September 2017.

Forthcoming Investor Event

The Company looks forward to welcoming investors at its Moroccan focused investor event in London on 5 October 2017, prior to kicking off operations in Eastern Morocco during the fourth quarter.
