Sound Energy, the energy transition company, announces that Richard Liddell, Senior Independent Director, has tendered his notice to step down from the board effective 30 November 2021.

Richard has served on the Board tirelessly since September 2015 in various capacities including a term as Chairman and has now decided that as the Moroccan Tendrara development project and the restructuring of Sound Energy are at a very advanced stage, the time is right to concentrate on his other ventures.

The Company intends to appoint an additional independent non-executive director in due course and further announcements will be made as appropriate
