Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Sound Oil, the European / Mediterranean focused upstream oil and gas company is pleased to announce that Stuart Joyner has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective Monday 22nd July.

Stuart Joyner, aged 41, joins from Investec Bank where he had been Head of Oil & Gas from 2010.  Stuart has 19 years' experience in investment banking for the oil and gas sector having previously worked for Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Dresdner Kleinwort and NatWest Securities.

James Parsons, Chief Executive Officer of Sound Oil, commented:

"The Board and I are pleased to welcome Stuart to the executive team.  His relationships with key institutions, debt funding experience, industry knowledge and commercial finance skills strengthen the executive team as we move into an exciting new phase of growth.
