Section 2 - Financial Information

Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On October 21, 2015, Sonoco Products Company issued a news release reporting the financial results of the Company for the quarter ended September 27, 2015. Although the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Cash Flows included in the third quarter earnings release was correct, the row "Cost of acquisitions, exclusive of cash" was inadvertently omitted from the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Cash Flows included in the copy of the earnings release filed as Exhibit 99 to the Company's Current Report on Form 8-K, filed on October 21, 2015, resulting in the misalignment of several of the other rows that followed. The omission and misalignments have been corrected in the copy of the third quarter earnings release filed as Exhibit 99 to this amended Current Report on Form 8-K. All other information in the initial 8-K remains unchanged.
