COMMUNICATION RECEIVED FROM SHAREHOLDER EFANOR INVESTIMENTOS, SGPS, SA

Sonae Indústria, SGPS, S.A. (Sonae Indústria) informs that it has received today a communication from Efanor Investimentos, SGPS SA, a shareholder who owns, directly and indirectly, 39,147,749 shares representing the share capital of Sonae Indústria, in which it irrevocably undertakes to Sonae Indústria to subscribe, as a minimum, a number of shares proportional to those held at the present date, in the share capital increase approved by the Board of Directors on 28 January 2021 and already disclosed to the market.

The public subscription offer depends on the approval of the respective prospectus by the Securities Market Commission.
