Sonae – SGPS, SA hereby informs that Sonae RP has concluded, today, the sale and leaseback transaction of the property where Sonae MC operates Continente Albufeira hypermarket, located in Algarve Shopping Centre. To this end, Sonae RP sold 100% of the capital of 'Imoconti', the wholly owner of this asset.

This transaction totaled 21.4 million euros and generated a capital gain of approximately 3.4 million euros. Accordingly, this has resulted in a Sonae MC freehold of 50%.

This transaction is aligned with Sonae's disclosed strategy concerning the monetisation of its real estate assets, while also maintaining adequate operational flexibility.
