INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE ACCOUNTS FOR 2007

Sonae - SGPS, SA informs that its shareholders have decided, at the Company's Annual General Meeting, held today:

1 - To approve the Company's Annual Report, Individual and Consolidated Accounts and respective Notes to the Accounts for 2007, as presented by the Board of Directors;

2 - To approve the proposed application of the Net Profit for 2007, in the amount of 16 503 134,55 euros, as follows:

• a. The application of 825 156,73 euros as Legal Reserves;
• b. The application of 15 677 977,82 euros as Dividends;
• c. The payment of a gross dividend of 0,03 euros per share, also using Free Reserves, in the amount of 44 322 022,18 euros, to this effect.
