In accordance with the financial transparency rules and legislation, JP Morgan Asset Management Holdings Inc. has notified Solvay that on 27 June 2012 the total participation of its various affiliates has passed downward the 3% threshold of the shares issued by Solvay S.A.

The group JP Morgan Asset Management Holdings Inc. did not hold Solvay shares on 27 June 2012.
