Solteq to reform its organisational structure

SOLTEQ PLC STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 16.9.2009 Solteq Plc has decided to change its organisational structure to correspond to the company's strategic focus areas ERP (enterprise resource planning), EAM (enterprise asset management), DATA (data management and integration) and STORE (retail solutions and technology). The reform aims at streamlining operations further, enabling faster responsiveness and improving development opportunities in the company's rapidly growing business segments. The operations of the company will be divided into three separate functions: solutions, sales and marketing and business support. The solutions organisation is responsible for the company's customer accounts and R&D activity. Ilmari Vallo has been appointed as the head of the organisation and Director of Operations. The solutions organisation is divided into four separate business segments corresponding to the company's focus areas: ERP Director Mira Sohlman EAM Director Risto Metsälä DATA Director Jouko Kiiveri STORE Director Markus Mäkelä Janne Mäkelä continues as the head of the sales and marketing organisation. This organisation will assume the responsibility for operations in Russia. The business support organisation encompasses finances, HR, office services, IT administration and customer support. Antti Kärkkäinen leads the organisation. Solteq's management group will include the Managing Director Hannu Ahola, Ilmari Vallo, Janne Mäkelä and Antti Kärkkäinen. The changes will take effect on 1 January 2010, and they are not estimated to have an impact on the number of employees. As of the beginning of 2010, Solteq Plc's figures will be reported for the four above-mentioned business segments.
