SOFF - SHAREHOLDING DISCLOSURE

Hemen Holding Limited ("Hemen"), which is indirectly

controlled by trusts established by John Fredriksen for the

benefit of his immediate family, has today acquired

1,500,000 shares at a price of NOK 9.38 per share in Solstad

Farstad ASA ("SOFF"). After the acquisition Hemen holds

50,189,231 shares in SOFF, representing 17.2 % of the shares

and votes in SOFF. Hemen does not hold rights to shares in

SOFF.
