Approved supplemental prospectus

Reference is made to stock exchange announcement

published on 9 September regarding approval by the

Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority of the

prospectus (the "Prospectus") prepared by Solstad

Offshore ASA (the "Company").

The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority has

today approved a supplement to the Prospectus

(the "Supplemental Prospectus") prepared by the

Company. The information contained in the Supplemental

Prospectus shall be considered an integral part of,

and is to be read together with, the Prospectus. The

Supplemental Prospectus is available at the website of
