Change in Board of Directors

In connection with the merger between Rem Offshore ASA

and Solship Invest 1 AS, it was agreed that Åge Remøy

should be entitled to nominate one board member in

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF). In that regard, Åge Remøy

nominated Inger Marie Sperre, who was elected as a new

board member with effect from the time of completion

of the merger. Åge Remøy has advised that he currently

do not wish to nominate a board member in SOFF. As a

consequence thereof, Ingen Marie Sperre has notified

her resignation as board member. The election

committee in SOFF will before the next ordinary

general meeting consider whether a new board member

shall be proposed as replacement for Inger Marie

Sperre.
