Directorate Changes

Solid State plc (AIM: SOLI), the AIM listed supplier of specialist industrial/ruggedised computers, electronic components, secure communications systems and battery power solutions to the electronics market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Timothy Nutter as Group Finance Director with effect from 5 January 2016.

Mr Nutter, aged 38, has over 14 years' experience as a chartered accountant within a variety of finance roles and joins the Company from Delphi Automotive plc, a global top ten Tier 1 automotive manufacturer for which he is currently the UK Finance Director.

From 5 January 2016, Peter Haining, the current Finance Director of the Company, will become a Non-executive Director of the Company retaining his role as Company Secretary.

Gary Marsh, CEO, commented: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Peter for his contribution over many years and welcome Mark to his role as full-time Group Finance Director.  With his skills and experience we believe that he will play a significant role in the continued development of the Solid State Group."
