Unlikeaplainvanillasubcontractor,acoalMDO

isrequiredtonotjustmine,but runthewholeshow, fromsecuring clearances, acquiring land, rehabilitationofdisplacedpeople,financing,development,mining and the operation and maintenance ofthe coalmine.Theprivate companypromisesdelivery of coalto thePSUat agreedterms andprices.
