Øyvind Hasaas resigns as CEO in REC Solar ASA

Oslo, 26 March 2014 - CEO Øyvind Hasaas has informed the Board of Directors in

REC Solar that he wishes to resign to seek new opportunities. Mr. Hasaas has an

expat contract for his assignment in Singapore until 30 June 2014.

The board of directors will assess both internal and external candidates and

expect to have a new CEO in place during the summer of 2014.

The chairman of the board Mr. Ole Enger, will during any interim period until a

new CEO is in place take increased responsibility for the company's operations,

in close cooperation with the local management in Singapore.
