Soiltech wins contract to treat contaminated fluid on ExxonMobile’s Fawley refinery

Soiltech has won a contract to treat contaminated fluid from pipe cleaning in connection with periodical maintenance on ExxonMobile’s Fawley refinery in the UK. This is a new technology contract for Soiltech. Startup is expected to be in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The scope of work includes the removal of unwanted residues from the fluid and the recovery of water for reuse in the washing process. The recovered oil is sent back to the refinery. Soiltech is using its proprietary Slop Treatment Technology (STT) to perform the work.
The project is carried out in cooperation with Pipetech International AS.

It offers environmental benefits for the client in terms of waste reduction and reuse of the cleaned water. The service could have a great potential for Soiltech.”
