Appointment of Iain Brown as Group Finance Director

Grafenia (AIM: GRA) is pleased to announce that Iain Brown has been appointed to the Board as Group Finance Director. Simon Barrell has stepped down as Interim Finance Director but will continue to serve on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Prior to joining Grafenia in October 2019, Iain was Group Financial Controller of the software company Myriad Group AG which, until April 2018, was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange. After graduating from Leeds University, Iain joined the audit practice of Baker Tilly UK LLP, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2012.

Peter Gunning, Chief Executive Officer of Grafenia, commented: "First we'd like to thank Simon for his work as Interim Finance Director whilst we completed our search for a permanent candidate. We're pleased to have him continue as a Non-Executive Director and support Iain in his new role. We're also delighted to welcome Iain to the Board of Grafenia. Since joining the business towards the end of last year, he's made further progress in modernising our finance function. We look forward to him leading a finance team, designed for the future needs of the business."
