Changes to the board of SoftOx

Kristian Almås has decided to step down from the Board of Directors, due to priorities related to other parts of his business operations. The successor will be elected at the next general meeting. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kristian Almås for an important contribution to the development of the company.

SoftOx is strengthening the Management team with the following hired personnel

Dr.ing. Arnar H. Kristjansson, Chief Operation Officer (COO)

Arnar has international experience in the medtech industry in positions such as COO, CTO and Global Product Manager. He has also worked as a permanent employee, consultant and interim manager in numerous industries - Oil and Gas, Offshore, Biotech, Automotive, and Finance. He has been an external examiner and taught at BI Business University. In addition, he mentored many startup companies at Aleap and the StartupLab.

Arnar has Dr.ing. degree in Design Engineering from NTNU, MSc in Production Management from Chalmers University of Technology and Dipl.ing. in Industrial Economics (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau) from TU Berlin. He has also been a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at the Center for Transportation Studies.

Dag Abrahamsen, Communication and Business Development

He has more than 30 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry from both small and large companies within the Pharma business, Med Tech and Bio-Tech. He is a specialist in market access, reimbursement, and business development within this sector. In addition Dag has extensive experience working for different patient organizations.

He has a wide network in Norway as well as internationally. Dag has assisted international clients regarding governmental and parliament affairs, in many countries.

Education; Law studies at the University of Bergen, as well as International Business Management, International Business Strategy and Organizational Psychology at BI.

Financial Manager

Due to maternity leave, SoftOx has hired a Financial Manager from BDO. She is educated at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen (NHH) and has several years of experience in financial management in various large companies.
