Die Softing Industrial Solutions Italia S.R.L, im Juli gegründete Auslandstochter der Softing AG schloß einen wirtschaftlich und strategisch bedeutenden Vertrag mit OSAI, dem größten Motion Controller Hersteller Italiens. Der Vertrag bezieht sich auf CNC-Steuerungskomponenten, die bei Werkzeugmaschinen, Holzverarbeitungsmaschinen und Roboter zum Einsatz kommen. Softing Italia erhielt damit wenige Wochen nach Gründung einen Auftrag mit einem momentanen Umsatzvolumen von DM 300000. Aus dem Design-In der Technologie von 4CONTROL in die Steuerungskomponenten von OSAI und dem daraus resultierenden Lizenzgeschäft rechnet die Softing AG mit einem signifikanten Umsatzanteil für ihre italienische Tochter. In den nächsten Jahren werden weitere Umsätze mit OSAI erwartet, da das Produktportfolio des Steuerungsherstellers durch den strategischen Ansatz offener Steuerungsplattformen von Softing ideal ergänzt wird. Der italienische Markt ist für industrielle Automatisierung nach dem deutschen der zweitgrößte Europas. In Bezug auf die strategische Ausrichtung der Marktdurchdringung Italiens, konnte mit OSAI ein Schlüsselkunde für Softing gewonnen werden, da die etablierten Vertriebsstrukturen des italienischen Steuerungsherstellers genutzt und gemeinsame Marketingaktivitäten geplant werden. Für die Softing AG ist der Vertrag mit der Firma OSAI sowie deren hoher Bekanntheitsgrad ein entscheidender Schritt um die Technologie von 4CONTROL auch am italienischen Markt zu etablieren. Lightning Start for Softing Italia with 4CONTROL Softing Industrial Solutions Italia S.R.L., a foreign subsidiary of Softing AG founded in July, has concluded a contract of great economic and strategic importance with OSAI, the largest Italian motion controller manufacturer. The contract concerns CNC components used in machine tools, wood- working machines and robotics. For these components, Softing Italia received an order with a current sales volume of DM 300,000, only a few weeks after it was founded. From the design-in of 4CONTROL technology into the OSAI control components and from the resulting licence agreements, Softing AG counts on a significant increase in sales volume for its Italian subsidiary. For the years to come, additional turnover with OSAI is expected since the product base of the control manufacturer is complemented perfectly by the strategic approach of open Softing control platforms. The Italian market for industrial automation is the second largest in Europe, next to the German one. With regard to the strategic goal of market penetration in Italy, OSAI is a key customer for Softing since the established marketing structures of the Italian control manufacturer can be used and sales activities can be planned in common. For Softing AG, the contract with the well-known OSAI company is a decisive step in establishing the 4CONTROL technology on the Italian market as well. Ende der Mitteilung
