In Spite of weak General Economic Activity, Softing Adheres to Annual Prognosis Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– During the third quarter, incoming orders amounted to 7.1 million DM (in 2000: 10.1 million DM) and during the first nine months of the past business year to 23.0 million DM (in 2000: 28.2 million DM). In the third quarter, the Softing group achieved a sales revenue of 8.5 million DM (in 2000: 8.9 million DM). For the first nine months, the revenue amounted to 26.2 million DM (in 2000: 25.2 million DM). The executive board expects that the annual turnover of the Softing group will be as predicted in the middle of the year, i.e. 35 million DM. The operating result of the Softing group ran to -1.5 million DM during the third quarter (in 2000: 0.04 million DM) and during the first nine months of the past business year to -4.7 million DM (in 2000: -2.2 million DM). For the entire business year 2001, the executive board expects the result of -7.0 million DM which was also predicted in the middle of the year. On September 30, 2001, the annual net deficit amounted to -2.2 million DM (in 2000: annual net profit 0.8 million DM).
