Electrica informs the shareholders and investors that, on 18 December 2020, Bucharest Court of Appeal settled, in retrial, the case no. 4804/2/2020 (former 7341/2/2014) and dismissed the action and the intervention requests as unfounded. The decision is appealable within 15 days of its communication.

We mention that the object of the case is Fondul Proprietatea's request for the cancellation of art. I points 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 of ANRE President's Order no. 112/2014 for amending and completing the Methodology for establishing tariffs for the electricity distribution service, approved by ANRE President's Order no. 72/2013, the initial number of the case being 7341/2/2014 and the case number in retrial being 4804/2/2020 (see the announcement identified by 2794F IRIS code (BSE), respectively 0015M RNS code (LSE) from 11 September 2019).

In first instance, the case was admitted on merits, ANRE filing an appeal against this sentence, admitted by the High Court of Cassation and Justice, which sent the case to the same court for re-examining the main action and the requests for accessory intervention made by the interveners Enel Muntenia SA, Enel Distributie Dobrogea SA and Enel Distributie Banat SA, in the first instance, and by the interveners Societatea de Distributie a Energiei Electrice Transilvania Sud SA, Societatea de Distributie a Energiei Electrice Transilvania Nord SA, Societatea de Distributie a Energiei Electrice Muntenia Nord SA and Societatea Energetică Electrica SA, in appeal (see the announcement identified by BEF55 IRIS code (BSE), respectively 5150D RNS code (LSE) from 19 February 2020).
