Information regarding the amending of the specific tariffs for the electricity distribution service applicable for Distributie Energie Electrica Romania S.A. (DEER), subsidiary of Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. (Electrica)

Electrica informs the shareholders and investors about the fact that it has been published in the Official Gazette part I, no. 290 / 25.03.2022 the ANRE Order no. 28 / 23.03.2022, amending the specific tariffs for the electricity distribution service for Distributie Energie Electrica Romania S.A.

The new tariffs, applicable starting with 1 April 2022 are presented in the table below, compared to those applicable from 1 January 2022 and until 31 March 2022:

The electricity distribution tariff charged for invoicing is calculated by adding the specific tariffs for the electricity distribution service depending on the voltage in the point for delimitation of electric installations belonging to the concessionaire distribution operator from those belonging to the end consumer, as established under the electricity distribution agreement.

The enforcement of the new electricity distribution tariffs will generate revenues from the activity of the distribution operator within the Electrica Group similar to those provided in the Individual and Consolidated Budget of Electrica for 2022 – the revised form, published on 23 March 2022 on Electrica website, in order to be approved by the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of 20 April 2022 (available at https://www.electrica.ro/en/investors/general-meetings-of-shareholders/2022-gms/general-meeting-ofshareholders-as-of-20-april-2022/).
