SALE OF FORNIX ALLERGY DIVISION TO ALK-ABELLO COMPLETED

Fornix BioSciences N.V. (Fornix) announces that the sale of the Dutch Allergy Division (Artu Biologicals Europe B.V. (Artu) en Artu Biologicals Onroerend Goed B.V. (Artu OG)) as approved by the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Fornix held on 29 June 2010 has been completed by the transfer of the entire issued share capital of Artu and Artu OG by Fornix to ALK-Abelló B.V. on Monday 5 July 2010 against payment of the estimated consideration. Upon finalisation of the Artu and Artu OG accounts as per the Effective Date (i.e., 1 July 2010), the definitive consideration shall be determined. Fornix expects to make further announcements early August regarding the definitive consideration and the net proceeds of the transaction which it intends to distribute to shareholders as part of the interim dividend 2010.

Mr. Dr. Folkert F. Roossien (Chief Scientific Officer) has, as part of the transaction, accepted an employment agreement with ALK-Abelló and has therefore resigned as member of Fornix' management board as of today.
