Termination of discussions on the acquisition of Bial-Aristegui

Fornix BioSciences N.V. (Fornix) and BIAL- S.G.P.S., S.A. (BIAL) have mutually agreed to terminate their discussion for the potential acquisition of the Allergy Division of BIAL in Spain and Portugal known as "BIAL-Aristegui", as referred to in the press release of Fornix dated 31 March 2008. Parties however have agreed to explore, over the coming months, alternative models of cooperation.

The Medical Aids Division, consisting of Laprolan in Beuningen, specialises in the marketing, sale and distribution of an extensive range of medical aids and medical and nursing consumables.
