Allergy Division’s performance in November and December 2005 exceeded expectations
Biopharmaceutical company Fornix BioSciences (Euronext: AFORBI) has upgraded its profit and turnover forecast for 2005. According to the latest figures, net profit for 2005 will be at least € 9.6 million, an increase of at least 45% on 2004 ( € 6.6 million). Consolidated turnover is expected to rise to € 87.7 million, up more than 14% on 2004 ( € 76.6 million).
In a previous update on 3 November, Fornix announced that it was expecting net profit growth of at least 35% and turnover growth of 10% in 2005.
The upward revision announced today is due entirely to the performance of the Allergy Division in November and December, which turned out far better than predicted.
More detailed provisional information on Fornix’s operations and results in 2005 will be published before start of trading on 24 January 2006.
