Snam: S&P confirms rating at BBB+, outlook raised to positive
San Donato Milanese (Milan), 29 th October 2021 – Snam informs that today the rating agency S&P has confirmed the company's long-term corporate credit rating at BBB+ and raised the outlook to positive from stable.
The decision reflects the similar action taken on the outlook of the Italian Government's sovereign rating (BBB with outlook raised to positive from stable) announced on 22 nd October. Snam's short-term rating is confirmed at A-2.
The rating agency continues to assess Snam's stand-alone credit profile (SACP) at "a-".
This assessment is a recognition to the company's leadership in the energy infrastructure space and pivotal role in the energy transition, as well as its stable and predictable cash flow generation from regulated operations in Italy.
