DS SMITH PLC NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS APPOINTMENT

Further to the announcement made on 16 April 2014, DS Smith Plc confirms that Ian Griffiths and Louise Smalley have today joined the Board as non-Executive Directors.

As required by the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no changes to the details disclosed on 16 April 2014 pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) and that neither Ian Griffiths nor Louise Smalley hold any shares in the Company.
