DS Smith Plc - Directorate Change

Philippe Mellier, who has been a non-Executive Director of DS Smith Plc since September 2006, has retired from the Board with immediate effect.

Gareth Davis, Chairman, said "On behalf of the Board and the Company, I would like to thank Philippe for his contribution to DS Smith during the seven years he has served as a non-Executive Director.  He has served through a period of transformation of the Group and helped guide DS Smith on its journey.  We wish him well in the future."
